Create Toon Style Character

This is one of my most exciting accomplishments yet.
I’ve long admired traditional animation and was intrigued by games like Genshin Impact and Guilty Gear, which used specialized shaders to achieve the look of traditional animation in a 3D engine. This would allow you to leverage the procedural adaptability that couldn’t otherwise be achieved with hand-drawn sprites.
Since the popularity of those games, there’s now a wealth of tutorials out for imitating their shader setups in Unreal Engine, and I was able to produce the effect in my game and in Blender as well.
I also extended the shader a bit by adding a distance fade effect, which makes the character become indistinct and shadowy the further it is from the camera.
